Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty! (Japanese title: Ha-chan, Boogie Woogie!), with casting by Kaiju, has been officially selected for the Centrepiece program at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Directed by Josef Kubota Wladyka, who won the Directing Award in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the film is scheduled for a North American theatrical release on September 25, 2026, following its TIFF premiere.

We are excited to announce that 太陽ぬ色 / The Color of the Sun directed by Xavier Tera will have its world premiere in the Orizzonti competition as part of the official selection at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival!

A raw coming-of-age that asks what it means to belong, to fight, and to grow up among the ghosts of the past.

Shot on 35mm the film stars Naoto Shimajiri and West Mulholland.

It is produced by Janie Chartier (Twin Brains), Stella Rossa Savino (MIA Film), Antonio Miyakawa (Wise Pictures), Jeremy O. Harris, and Shogen. Worldwide sales are being handled by The Pool Films.

The Human Vapor, a Netflix series that marks the first-ever monumental collaboration between Netflix and Toho, began its exclusive global streaming on July 2. This highly anticipated series is a modern reboot of the classic 1960 Toho sci-fi tokusatsu film, Gas Human First Missing (released internationally as The Human Vapor).
